Cup and saucer
Chocolate cup, hard-paste porcelain, short foot-rim and high curving sides, plain loop handle; decorated in polychrome enamels with to the front of the cup a panel painted with an oriental figure blowing a horn, the panel enclosed by a rather formal and elaborate rococo border in gilt , red and purple, a further rococo design around the handle, gilt lines around the foot-rim and lip-rim. Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, short foot-rim and curving sides; decorated in polychrome enamels with to the well a panel painted with a seated female oriental figure holding a parasol, the panel enclosed by a rather formal and elaborate rococo border in gilt, red and purple, a gilt line around the rim.
