Hawksley, Rozanne (1931-2021)
Mixed-media sculptural work comprising a roughly oblong piece of worm-eaten wood onto which are mounted bird bones (most of a skeleton, two separate legs and part of a spine) fixed with thread and pins and a small corroded metal cross fixed with thread, map details and inscriptions in ink, numerous nail and worm holes, the whole mounted in a glazed shallow wooden box with a hinged lid. Separate wooden crate.
