Roman copper alloy T shaped brooch
Decoration is confined to the top half, where a plain panel, outlined by incised lines, contains two small sub rectangular depressions that probably once contained enamel. Below this is a pair of lentoil mouldings. The head of the bow turns through a right angle to meet the semi cylindrical wings which hold a bilateral spring with axis bar through end lugs and the chord through an overhead lug, in Polden Hill fashion. The wings are decorated by ridge and groove decoration
