Cup, tea and saucer
Teacup and saucer, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain; the cup standing on a rounded foot rim, London shape, and ogee handle; the saucer set on a rounded foot rim, with straight spreading sides; both painted with set pattern 262; the cup with three oval reserves of a pink rose on a cream ground, within a wide border of underglaze blue with large gilt foliate scrolls issuing smaller foliate tendrils; a gilt band below and to the lip, foot rim, and gilding to the handle; a pink rose heart inside the cup within an underglaze blue and gilt medallion; the saucer similarly painted with four oval reserves around the edge, with a rose heart in the centre .
