Pardoe, Thomas (1770-1823)
Plate, hybrid-paste porcelain with an earthy buff translucency and crackled glaze; standing on a tapered foot rim, cushion moulded and curved spreading sides; lobed lip moulded with c-scrolls and ribbon-tied flowers and foliage, and a groove moulded cavetto; painted in the centre with a closely arranged bouquet of fruit and flowers, including two pink roses, a yellow plum, and an anemone; six single flowers around the edge on a pink ground, with the flower moulding left white and the c-scroll moulding high-lighted in gilt; gilt band to the lip and cavetto.
