Cup, tea and saucer
Tea cup and saucer, soft-paste porcelain, the cup with a greenish translucency, the saucer with a blue translucency; cup standing on a prominent cylindrical foot rim, rounded sides flaring at lip, with a slightly waved lip, with a narrow band of basket weave moulding above moulded spiral gadrooning; ear-shaped loop handle; saucer on a tapered foot rim, slightly curved spreading sides, with a slightly waved lip, and basket weave moulding above spiral gadrooning; both painted with alternating sepia roses and convolvuli with gilt fronds, and a rose in the centre of the saucer encircled by gilt seaweed pattern; gilt lip, gilt band to foot rim, and gilt leaf to the handle.
