Vase, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a square pedestal, moulded circular wreath, border of moulded spheres, curved foot, balustuer shaped body, thin, long neck, two applied scrolling strap handles, lower half of body fluted, border of pierced scroll work to neck; decorated in gilt and polychrome enamels, the pedestal with gilt flutes, gilding to wreath, gilt outline and green basket pattern to flutes on body, handles gilt, border on neck gilded, decorated on either side with a square relief reserve, outlined in gilt, pink ground, both containing grisaille scrolls, books and quills.
