Figure group of the Edward Prince of Wales and Victoria, the Princess Royal, white earthenware with a blue tinted crackle glaze, standing on an oval plinth with an undulating front of rococo design and with a narrow undulating plaque inscribed in black impressed capitals. Prince of Wales mounted on horseback facing right, in contemporary dress of black shoes, white trousers, underglaze blue coat with gilt decoration, naturalistically painted face, long brown hair and a large yellow hat with a green plume, seated on a yellow saddle with a gilt line round, resting right hand on his thigh and left hand by horse's neck. Horse white with a grey mane and tail, pink harness and a black bridle and reins pulling a small high pony carriage containing the seated? Princess in black slippers, white pantalettes with a pink fringe, plaid type orange coloured skirt decorated with green and black stripes forming a mesh, blue bodice, naturalistically painted face, long brown hair, yellow hat with a pink plume. Rust coloured carriage with one large, orange coloured spoked wheel (broken), black dots round wheel rim, and a green interior piled with three cushions, one pink, one green and one orange.
