Jug and cover
Jug, hard-paste porcelain,standing on a rounded spreading foot-rim, bulbous body, cylindrical neck, rounded lip-rim, raised spout, high loop handle, domed cover with a finial modelled in the form of a pear; the exterior body of the jug decorated in underglaze blue with an immortelle pattern of Chinese-style stylized foliage, rocks and birds, an underglaze blue foliate spray to the top of the cover, around the neck of the jug and the rim of the cover a border of arcading in underglaze blue, a pattern of stylized foliage to the handle.
