Jug, hard-paste porcelain, bulbous body tapering inwards at the neck, beak spout with scale and scroll moulding, elaborate 'J-shaped' handle, attached to the handle are two metal attachments with a length of chain between, these may have been used to attach a cover to the jug, or they may have been added later to hold the handle, which is broken, together; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to either side of the body a large group of garden flowers, the spout and handle picked out in puce.
