Part of the Edward Lovett collection of dolls

Stuffed rag doll with stitched eyes and nose, no mouth, white cotton head and arms, red/white striped cotton body and legs. Wearing long dress of purple silk, high necked with red collar. Three-quarter length full sleeves with crochet lace cuffs, lace band on skirt, red/white striped belt. Blue decoration stitched l side of bodice. Black cloth boots. Purple silk hat with black hat band and elaborate decoration of multi-coloured silks.
