Roman pottery jar
Archive report:
A narrow-mouthed jar with a deeply indented rim in a fine version of Fabric 1, its surface has subsequently been sooted. It is a variant of an Oxford product, Young C 16.6 and it can be paralleled at Coygan Camp (Wainwright 1969) fig. 35 15). c. A.D. 270-300 (BF; 137)
