Sweetmeat basket
Sweetmeat basket, silver, oval, standing on an applied pierced oval foot ring, ogee-curved pierced sides, curved handle hinged on opposite sides; the foot ring pierced with horizontal bars and circles, the sides with foliate scrolls between two bands of husks, these with punched and engraved details on the inside, beaded wires applied round the bottom of the foot ring, the upper surface of the rim and along the handle.
