Tray with preserve pots
Tray, soft-paste porcelain, boat-shaped form with oval straight-sided foot-rim and curving sides rising higher to either end of the tray, to the well are attached two cups with pedestal feet and ovoid bowls, into each cup fits a deep ovoid liner with spreading rim and a round domed cover, the finials to the top of both covers have broken off; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the centre of the well of the tray and to either side of the cups a spray of ribbon-tied roses, further wreaths of roses around the tops of the covers, the interior sides of the tray, the exterior upper bodies of the cups and the rims of the covers covered with a pale blue ground with to the edges borders in gilt of waving stems issuing trefoil leaves and single berries between two gilt lines, gilt bands around the centre of the well of the tray, the foot-rims and lower and upper bodies of the cups and the rims of the liners.
