Sugar bowl with cover
Sugar bowl and cover, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a foot rim, straight sides curving inward at the base, domed cover with opening bud finial; decorated in polychrome enamels, one side with a landscape with two figures, one female with a bundle on her back, tree, house and water to left, village in distance, trees to right, otherside with a harbour scene, two figures carrying a third in a sling, ships to right, two landscapes to cover, one with a figure seated beside a tree fishing, house to right, the other with two figues in a boat, rocks to left, border of blue ribbon entwined around yellow and brown line to shoulders and rim of cover, geometric gilt border to rim of cover.
