Billingsley, William (1758 - 1828)
Slop bowl, hard-paste porcelain with a white translucency, tall spreading foot rim and swelling sides, decorated on each side with a circular view of a river amid hills in reddish brown monochrome, each within a border of two gilt bands with a leaf trail between, pendant from a small ribbon bow, gilt line border to the foot and lip, both rubbed; the interior plain.
