Post-Medieval silver pin
Silver pin with gilt spherical head, and decoration of filigree wire forming quatrefoils on each hemisphere (four circles around a central granule, within larger circle), and granules and annulets between larger circles. At the top of the head sits a single granule. A plain band around the girth of the head reveals traces of the seam join for the two halves of the hollow head. The pin shaft is very regular in cross-section, though it is bent in two places and the lower half is missing.
