Sugar bowl, inner lid and cover
Sugar bowl, pale cream-coloured earthenware, oval shape with flat base and straight sides, the exterior sides moulded with shields of the Arms of Leeds, and medallions containing Bishop Blaise and a ship under sail with swags and leaves, moulded reeded borders around the foot-rim and exterior lip-rim, oval flat inner lid with to the centre a cord loop handle with leaf terminals surrounded by a formal pierce-work border, oval domed cover with to the top a cord loop handle with leaf terminals, the sides of the cover moulded with shields of the Arms of Leeds and medallions containing a ship under sail; left a pale cream colour and glazed. The handle to the cover broken and repaired.
