Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Pardoe, Thomas (1770-1823)
Spill-vase of soft-paste porcelain with pale buff translucency, with a turned, stepped base, cylindrical body and ridged lip; the body decorated with an enamelled view of a waterfall, trees and two spectators to the left, in a gilt octagonal border; on the back a gilt flower spray and butterfly; the foot has gilded and peach-coloured enamel bands, the ridge round the lip gilded.
