Early Iron Age bronze rod plate
Two pronged rod plate, cast onto a small surviving cauldron sheet fragment. The cast metal forms an irregular oval shape on both sides of the the sheet fragment, the outer surface being slightly domed and and the inner being undulating and untidy. Some of the cast metal has a black patination over the surface.
