Rag doll, Russian peasant

Part of the Edward Lovett collection of dolls

Firmly stuffed with a stitch moulded nose and painted features. Blond wool hair, black hat with grey net, blue fabric and red rosette. Dressed in a red torso with black and white striped sleeves, a red neck ruffle and white waist band with white bow and blue pompom. Green skirt with crimbed black hem, underskirt of carboard. Fabric hands attached to sides of skirt, no legs.
