Cream paper with handwritten details in black ink. Recommendation letter from William Roberts, master, certifying that Arthur Garrett served on the COUNTY OF CARDIGAN. Dated 18 June, 1907.
n.b. Accession numbers 84.154I/15 - 20 are secured together with a metal pin. At front of documents is an unaccessioned note upon which is handwritten 'A.W. Garrett, Sea time - sail 496 days, steam 370, W.H.S.'.
Built 1877 at Sunderland for William Thomas (Liverpool).
