Pastille burner and cover, soft-paste porcelain, inverted bell-shape form raised on a conical base with square foot, two side handles on the rim, flat perforated cover with metal flower finial; extensive gilt decoration with gilt line and beaded borders, the painted scene illustrates Milton's poem Lycidas.
