Plate, waved rim comprising six small and six large lobes, shallow foot rim, glaze crackled; the centre decorated within a plain gilt border with an urn on a tall, scrolling pedestal in underglaze blue, spouting flames in red enamel and gold, flanked by two peacock-like birds in olive green, perched in pink and red willows, all further ornamented in gold; three brick-red panels extending to rim, reserved with an imari flower head among scrolls, alternating with three waved edged panels of underglaze blue and green; chequered with gilding, and supported by three wreathed ionic columns in the cavetto.
