Candlestick
Candlestick, pale cream-coloured earthenware with a soft greeny-yellow tinge to the glaze, columnar form with square base, straight-sided shaft and square sconce, a moulded foliate border around the top and bottom of the base and the rim of the sconce, the sides of the sconce moulded with a baluster railing, the sides of the base and the sides of the shaft ornamented with elaborate pierce-work patterns; left a pale cream colour and glazed. The sconce broken off, a large part of the shaft broken into several pieces.
