Butter-bowl
Butter bowl and cover, porcelain; circular base with straight sides, and two small scroll handles near lip; cover with slightly overhanging rim, slightly domed, with a twisted twig and leaf moulding as a finial; bowl painted all around with sides with cornflower sprigs in blue, green, and purple enamel, plain gilt band to lip and green enamel decoration on both handles; cover similarly painted with only green enamel used on the twig finial; gilt band to rim.
