In contemporary dress of black shoes, white trousers, white waistcoat with a small pattern of purple ad blue dots flowers and wavy lines, gilt spotted neckerchief, white jacket, naturalistically painted face, black hair, leaning against a pillar draped in pink cloth on the right hand side, left hand resting on the ear of a brown and white spaniel, the spaniel seated and facing the figure's leg and with a gilt chain and star around its neck.
