Cruet
Cruet stand of cinquefoil 'Warwick' pattern with three casters and two glass bottles, silver and glass, the base a cinquefoil plate reinforced beneath with a matching plate pierced in the form of five conjoined rings, this standing on four applied cast shell feet with double C-scrolls above linking the base to the rim of the guard frame, this formed from seven joined rings with ogee-moulded sides, a cast rococo cartouche engraved with a coat of arms applied to the front (fifth side) of the frame, a vertical shaft with moulded bands and baluster top section screwed into the base and supporting a cast loop handle formed from scrolls with a shell motif at its top, the frame containing two small and one large pear-shaped casters each standing on a domed foot and with horizontal moulded bands and tall spirally pierced and chased covers with urn finials, the cover of one small caster lined to block the perforations, that of the other fitted with a domed pierced strainer, the two straight-sided glass bottles with long necks and detachable silver caps, the bottles facet-cut, the caps cylindrical with domed top and urn finial and fitting into the two small rings of the guard frame when removed.
