Dish, buff coloured earthenware, circular shape, standing on a straight-sided foot-rim, double curve profile with curving sides and spreading rim; covered all over with a slightly blue tinged white tin-glaze, the upperside of the plate crudely painted in polychrome enamels with to the centre of the well a parrot-like bird perched on a spreading Chinese-style tree, to the rim a red lattice-work pattern alternating with reserves containing an elongated brown arch and a twisted blue line.
