S.S. EMPIRE HALDANE (7087gt). Built 1944 by J.L.Thompson & Sons Ltd., Sunderland for MoWT. 1947 - Sold to Goulandris Bros Ltd, London and renamed GRANFORD. 1957 - Sold to San Pedro Compagnia Armadora SA, Panama and renamed FULMAR. 1965 - Sold to Bianca Carriers Inc, Liberia and renamed BIANCA VENTURE (managed by Wah Kwong & Co Ltd of Hong Kong). She ran aground in November 1965, north of Mukho, South Korea, and broke in two becoming a total loss.
