Weesp (fl.1759-1770)
Slop-bowl, hard-paste porcelian, standing on a foot rim, flared sides, everted lip; decorated in enamels, on one side with a seated couple in a garden setting, the female wears a long yellow dress and hat, to the left a male figure wears a purple jacket, black trousers, pink waistcoat, black tricorn hat, he points to the left, tree to right, rocks in foreground, opposite a male figure wearing a pink waistcoat and a yellow jacket with a green sash around his waist, one hand raised to his head, tree to left, bushes behind, both scenes standing on curved, purple platforms with scrolling and diaper-pattern work, dark purple border line to lip.
