Jug, pale red/grey stoneware, standing on a spreading pie-crust moulded foot, ovoid body, pronouced cordoning to body; elongated rilled cylindrical neck, slightly waisted and with an inverted and heavily chipped lip rim; small loop handle; unglazed and with some smeared pale grey slip engobe giving a matt appearance, the colour of the body ranging from a pale orangey red to a pale grey; plaster restoration to foot.
