Dish, centre, soft-paste porcelain; standing on a straight sided foot rim curving into curved sides with a flared lip; shaped edge, each side consisting of two concave curves and notched rounded corners; twig handles with raised foliate terminals; painted with a 'Japan' pattern, - an underglaze blue arabesque border with iron red medallions, issuing iron red outlined leaves and flowers, and green leaves, around an underglaze blue lined rectangular panel, with stylised pink and red flowers, with green, iron red, and blue foliage; gilt lip, and gilt detail to the handles.
