Black and white photograph of the original premises of the European Commission Office in Wales on Cathedral Road, Cardiff (1976-2002). The Office relocated in 2002 to 2 Caspian Point, Caspian Way, Cardiff Bay.
Acquired from the European Commission Office in Wales following its closure in Feburary 2020. On 31 January 2020, the United Kingdom left the European Union. As a result, the European Commission Representation in the UK ceased all activities on 1 February 2020, meaning that its Office in Wales closed. The closure of the EC Office in Wales marked the end of a 44 year presence in Cardiff (1976-2020).
