Plate, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, flaring spreading sides; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the centre of the well an urban landscape with in the foreground a number of figures standing on a large cobbled area and in the background a number of large buildings and shipping moored up at a quayside, the landscape enclosed by a heavy circular gilt band, a heavy gilt band to the rim.
