Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Shell-shaped dessert dish, soft paste porcelain, with clear white translucency, greyish green tinge to the glaze, standing on a shallow foot ring, slight greyish tinge to glaze, wavy edge following moulded border of C scrolls and flowers and ribbons, one end extended in fan/scallop shell form. Undecorated.
