M.V. BRITISH HOPE, glass negative
Starboard broadside view of M.V. BRITISH HOPE at Cardiff Docks.
Built 1928 by Caledon Shipbuilding & Engineering Co Ltd., Dundee (engine by Burmeister & Wain, Copenhagen), for the British Tanker Company Ltd. She carried a crew of 41 and had accomodation for six passengers. BRITISH HOPE was sold for scrap in 1957, arriving for breaking at Milford Haven on the sameday.
