Cup, greyish hybrid-paste porcelain, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, cylindrical sides curving inwards towards the base, scrolled loop handle with thumb-spur in the form of a raised ball; finely painted in red, purple and green enamels with to one side of the exterior body a clump of purple flowers in a garden setting, and to the other side a spray of red flowers, scattered leaf sprigs around the rest of the exterior body, a gilt edge to the lip-rim, the handle picked out in gilt. Saucer, greyish hybrid-paste porcelain, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, curving sides; finely painted in red, purple and green enamels with to the centre of the well a clump of purple flowers in a garden setting, around the sides of the well red floral sprigs and leaf sprigs, a gilt edge to the rim.
