Teapot and cover
Teapot, red-brown earthenware, straight-sided foot-rim, bulbous body sloping inwards at the shoulder, short raised neck, to the front of the body twin plain curving spouts, plain loop handle with raised thumb-spur, round domed cover with knob-shaped finial to the centre and a pierced steam hole to one side, decorated with applied sprigs of white clay with to either side of the exterior body the Royal Arms showing a shield of pretence supported by a lion and a unicorn, a stylized flower head to the body to either side of the hand and stylized flower heads to the base of each spout, a spray of foliage to the body above the spouts; left a red-brown and glazed.
