Teapot and cover
Teapot, pale cream-coloured earthenware, inset base, globular body, plain curving spout, grooved loop handle, round domed cover with to the top a disc finial with a pierced steam hole through it; the exterior surfaces of the teapot and the top of the cover marbled under the glaze with shades of blue and brown in imitation of the surface of agate, the whole of the teapot and cover covered with a glassy green glaze.
