Costume cloth doll, Russian, 1909

Cloth head and body, hair stitched to head, stitched features on face, wearing black woollen trousers, dark purple velvet boots, red tunic with white polka dots with 5 imitation metal buttons at front. Silk ribbon sash tied around waist black, white and purple striped. Turquoise neckerchief. Small piece of black netting attached to back of hair. Piece of paper with writing in ink stuffed up the tunic says "Pair dolls Torjok Jver(?) Nor Russian London 1909"
