Plate, soft-paste porcelain, circular shape with rounded tapering foot-rim, curving sides and spreading rim, a scalloped edge to the rim, the upperside of the dish moulded with a raised spray of rose leaves and buds which issue from a raised stem along one side of the rim and which extend around the rim and across the well; the moulded spray of rose leaves and buds overpainted in naturalistic greens, browns and purples, interspersed with the moulded areas are delicately painted sprigs of flowers in polychrome enamels, the rim painted with a pattern of gilt c-scrolls, a gilt band around the outer rim.
