Sessile Oak (Business Directory of Cardiff, 1913)
Paper sculpture comprising a bound Cardiff business directory for 1913 in an open position, into which has been cut in receding layers the outline of Cardiff's city boundaries at various dates from 1905 to the present, onto which modelled in steel wire a sessile oak covered with paper cut from the directory and showing the names of businesses, individually hand-cut leaves glued to the branches. Separately, a framed montage of adverts cut from the directory.
