Inkpot
Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Ink pot, with flared rim on a slightly flared foot. Flat top, with circular indent in centre, with aperture. Lines of beading around body. Top painted in pink, blue and green enamels with spray of stylised flowers. Body painted with sceens of two cats on a rug, and kittens playing in a basket. On front CAG foliate monogram in brown and black enamels, within a wreath of pink and blue flowers with green leaves.
