Milk jug
Milk jug, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, bulbous body, short cylindrical neck, plain beak spout, loop handle formed from two twisted stems with foliate moulding to the terminals, the cover missing; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the front of the exterior body of the jug a view of a turkey in a landscape, four scattered floral sprigs to the rest of the exterior body, a gilt band around the lower body, a gilt dentil band around the exterior lip-rim and spout, the handle picked out in gilt.
