H.M.S. IMPREGNABLE, Devonport (photograph)
Sepia photograph mounted on cream card. Photograph shows three vessels called IMPREGNABLE. IMPREGNABLE I (Lord Howe?) was the last wooden battleship. She broke her back when launched at Pembroke. IMPREGNABLE II was made of wood and metal. IMPREGNABLE III was made of all metal and was the first all metal one (Black Prince).
