Travelling trunk

wardrobe travelling trunk; interior is lined throughout with cotton-printed textile of diamond-shape pattern in blue green and yellow; on one side of case is a hanging wardrobe with wooden hangers on a chrome rail including a plain linen bag covered with a dust curtain from the same cotton-printed material; below is a fitted suitcase, used for storing shoes; on the opposite side are 4 drawers with 2 decorative metal handles to each; drawers are secured by a metal bar running down centre; exterior of trunk is of dark blue with leather handle to top and metal locks and clasps on sides; the name and address of original owner has been painted over on one side: S/LDR F. L. A. VERNON 503479 2nd RAF? / ...CONISTON RD/ CAMBRIDGE/ ENGLAND. Mr. Vernon was late father of donor.
