Cream tureen and cover, trident soft-paste porcelain, heavily potted, circular, pedestal foot, bowl with a pair of shell-handles under an inverted convex collar, convex conical cover with a spoon hole and a flat beaded top, pineapple finial; painted with a 'famille rose' pattern, the body with pink, orange and red prunus, chrysanthemums etc, growing from blue rocks on green grass, under an orange band overpainted with gilt patterning and reserved with curved sided panels painted with pink petals; the shoulder and cover painted with red, purple and pink flower heads outlined in black; gilt Vandyke border around foot, base of shoulder, rim to cover, gilt bands outlining shoulder and around cover, handles and upper part of finial gilt.
