Skillet, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a tall foot rim, flared sides, folded spout with leaf moulding, long, moulded handle, domed cover with raised flange; decorated in underglaze blue and overglaze enamels, sides with a band of sprays of foliage above rim, border of turquoise ground with white reserves around spout and opposite, containing painted crayfish, diaper border to lip and rim of cover, border of turquoise ground with white reserves containing crayfish under flange, foliate decoration on centre, brown line to flange and lip of cover, gilt decoration to spout and handle.
