Roman iron hobnails
Hobnailed boot soles consolodated within block-lifted soil from a grave (3rd century A.D.?). The leather has completely decayed as had the body with which they were burried.

Context HTA is a Roman Well shown in the publication for the Cattle Market site (Fig. 15, Area 2) and this is the basis for associating this (1973) context with the Cattle Market Site (Area 2).
